Covid-19 Update
We send our good wishes to everyone reading this, we hope you and your loved ones stay safe. We look forward to the future where we have won the battle over this pandemic.
We have been shocked at the speed and deadliness of Covid-19. It has been a wake-up call for all nations and rocked the lives of most people on the planet. We are very grateful that our extended family members are all in good health at this moment in time. We live in an island country with good government (regardless of the political party in power) and we have a population of largely sensible people who are willing to follow the lock-down rules that we are now living under. We also feel thankful that we live on a farm, we are able to continue working here and have a beautiful environment around us.
On the Shadow Wood farm the first impact has been a delay to the next planned export to Europe/UK. We will be re-assessing this month by month. The next impact has been on some of our ongoing infrastructure projects. We were lucky to have had a lot of fencing done already this year and the poles have been put in place for our paddock shelters. Grant and I have been busy with several jobs so progress is still being made.
We want to say a huge thank you to all essential workers around the world. THANK YOU for caring, for ensuring there is food and medical care available and for keeping the services of society working.
